About the event
Dear Friends,
We are excited to welcome you back to the shelter for an Indoor/Outdoor Open House. We will be following CDC guidelines to make this a safe event. There will be tents outside and volunteers on hand to sell toys, treats and raffle tickets. Guests may enter the shelter in limited numbers to visit all our cute residents. Masks required.
This past year has been challenging with volunteers and donations down. We’ve had many adoptions, but also a baby bunny boom. Several rescued rabbits came to us pregnant. Babies require a special diet and are at the shelter longer because they have to mature before they can be spayed/neutered and adopted.
The shelter relies on your donations to continue rescue efforts of abandoned or mistreated rabbits. We provide food, housing, socialization, medical care and a loving forever home. If you can not make the Open House, you can purchase raffle tickets or make a donation using PayPal. Donations can also be mailed to the shelter.
